1) NO Debating
 Debating turns the people away from Islam before they can get the basic message.
2) NO URL's (Except Our Monitors)
 Links to other sites might be attacking Islam & if you do it - others will do it, too.
3) NO Teaching (Except Our Scholars)
 Our teachers work together to present Islam in simple English.
4) NO Profanity, Insults or Idle Chatter
 Many times people enter just to do mischief and cause trouble.
5) NO Talking Politics
 This has Muslims arguing with each other .
6) NO Marriage Solicitation/Proposals
 Many problems come from "meeting" someone in a chatroom & it is very rude & distracting.
7) NO Personal Info Exchange
 This might cause a problem you cannot solve. Children & sisters are targets for these guys.
8) NO Fake IDs (MUST BE A NAME)
 This gives our visitors a bad impression and it is not very personal to use false names.
9) NO Foreign Language (ENGLISH ONLY)
 The whole idea of our site is to make sure they get the message in English - Plain English
10) MUST RESPECT TEACHERS
 Allah doesn't like for us to insult or bother our teachers, or those in authority over us.

What is the purpose of this chat room?


This room is made for serving non-muslims and new muslims who are interested in knowing more about islam , this is through the 24 hours broadcast that is provides lectures for Shik Yusuf Estes and other scholars in addition to many live events , also , through the scholars who come to the room to answer questions online through chat.

You are welcome anytime. We are open for 24 hours , people listen to the broadcast and share any comments they have about this , or ask quetsions to the scholars when they are here.

When do the scholars come to the chat room?


Currently we have some weekend programs every week and more are being added. Also, Sheik Yusuf Estes does enter the chatroom almost everyday and offers advise and help in Islam, Al Hamdulillah.

How do I recognize the moderators and scholars?


Each of the scholars uses his real name which is password protected, also you will find the name of the scholar in a red color in the users' list of the voice chat room or with a different icon in the users' list of the text chat room.

What should I do with my questions?


First, you may get your quetsion answered immediately online if you meet one of the scholars at the chat room, if not please take a few minutes to check our site www.islamalways.com which contains a growing database for questions other people asked with detailed answers given by sheik Yusuf Estes . Then, if you do not find your question there, please send your question to AskIslam@aol.com, and inshAllah as soon as possible you will get the answer e-mailed to you.

No, this is not permitted unless you are one of our approved teachers. Unfortunately, people would take advantage of this and teach the wrong things if we would let the. Please take few minutes to read the rules .

I do not know English well, can I chat privately with friends in my own language?


Yes, you can do this, but only in private messages - not in the main chat room. This is for monitoring purposes.
